- WWII Studies Voucher Days
October 8 - 9, 2008 (8am - 6pm)
Brookdale Community College's bookstore, THE SCROLL AND PEN, will host a Fall Term “voucher day program” on behalf of the Center for World War II Studies and Conflict Resolution. Anyone purchasing books (other than text books), CDs, clothing items, etc. at the store will be contributing part of the purchase price to the Center to further fund its programs and services. The Center for World War II Studies and Conflict Resolution presents a unique program featuring the presentation of a World War II inspired movie and a discussion of the movie by veterans who were actually there!
- WWII Memorial Dedication Ceremony
Tuesday, 11 November 2008 at 2:30 pm
The dedication of New Jersey's long-awaited World War II Memorial will appropriately take place on Veterans Day. Ceremonies will be held at the Memorial's site, which is located on West State Street, directly across from the State House.
