Come On and Take a Free Ride - We look at how NJ Transit is implementing the idea that public transportation is an essential element in continuing the economic stability of New Jersey. Through their “Get a Job. Get a Ride” program, we see how the NJ Transit provides workers with a one month free bus to help them with the difficult transition back to work. We also look at how the NJ Transit is making it easier for employees to receive monthly bus and rail passes at their work site. Through Business Pass, employees realize a cost savings by using a cost-effective monthly pass.

Vanpooling - We explore how NJ Transit is assisting commuters to work who live in areas where public transportation is not available. We see how NJ Transit is providing a financial incentive for van pooling through their sponsorship, and how they make sure the commuters are receiving the best commute possible. We also see how the NJ Transit is encouraging commuters to take advantage of their services through Transit Chek; a program designed for the commuters to save money through pay-roll deductions or tax-free employee benefits
