Hispanic Leaders' Concerns, Strategies and Motives
There are 35,000 undocumented Latinos serving in the armed forces. Many of them have given up their lives to become citizens of the United States. Should they be declared U.S. citizens immediately after completing their commitment to the military? Should members of their nuclear family be given priority for citizenship, especially if the undocumented solder has died in battle? This program will be an open discussion on the topics and concerns the Latino community has for the upcoming year. It will also outline the solutions they feel are necessary to improve the quality of life for Latinos in the upcoming year.
