Homeless Tails is a two-minute
daily program hosted by NJN's Sandy Levine that features animal
shelters throughout New Jersey and the dogs and cats which are available
for adoption. During each program, Levine is usually joined by a
cat, a dog and a staff member from the shelter being featured. One
shelter is typically featured in each program. Homeless Tails airs
at various times throughout the day.
Since 1993 each week
on Homeless Tails a Veterinarian of the Week from the NJ Veterinary
Medical Association has helped fight the animal overpopulation problem
by donating one spay or neuter to an animal adopted from the featured
shelter. Visit NJVMA at www.njvma.org
for information on veterinarians in the state and to locate a veterinarian
in your area.
