Show #8Poetry Festival - The biennial Geraldine R. Dodge Poetry Festival at Waterloo Village offers four days or readings, discussions and conversations with nearly 60 international and nationally renowned poets. One day of the four-day event is devoted to students. The cameras follow teacher Bob Evan's Cumberland Regional High School students and Suzette Given's Bernards High School students to watch their impressions of the wonderful world of poetry.

Bergen Community College - When young people begin planning for life beyond high school, more are taking an important step toward careers, and life, by considering their community colleges.  The mission of New Jersey’s 19 community colleges is to provide high quality transfer programs, occupational programs, continuing education courses, business support services, and community service programs at a reasonable low cost in response to local and statewide needs.  Bergen Community College features state-of-the-art facilities, including the Allied Health Department with its nine accredited programs.  For more about Bergen Community College, go to www.bergen.edu.

Black Light Theater – The stage at Lambertville Elementary School turns into a visually magical experience with a black light theater production.  A resource room teacher, Karen Pagan, and a retired art teacher Dolores Dragan, give students with learning challenges a chance to exhibit their creative theatrical talents in a production called “A String of Pearls.”

Sterling Generation - Four generations gather at a special brunch to honor grandparents of preschoolers who attend a special program at Sterling High School in Somerdale. The high school program provides hands-on experience in early childhood development, while giving Somerdale parents a quality place to send their preschool children.
