Law EnforcementLaw Enforcement – The Monmouth County Vocational School District, located in Freehold, offers a law enforcement program to high school students for college credit. The curriculum focuses on criminal justice, forensic science and computer applications.

Family Science Night – Second graders from Alloway Township Elementary School and their parents will enjoy an evening with insects and butterflies. Lady Monarch is the special guest, and students will perform a play entitled “Over in the Milkweed.”

Leaping into Literacy Part 2 – Educators from the Academy Project at the Lincoln Annex in New Brunswick are teaching families the value of literacy. The school encourages reading at home by providing bookshelves for families to take home. Parents spend an evening building the bookshelves and learning how to write journals of their child’s trips to the local library. This program is funded through the NJEA Frederick L. Hipp Foundation for Excellence in Education.

K.I.D.S. Inc. – Randolph Middle School students run a company that produces and markets snack food. The food classes coordinate with technology, consumer economics, sewing, and music. This program is funded through the NJEA Frederick L. Hipp Foundation for Excellence in Education.
