This episode will feature a special
teacher award program funded by the Milken Family Foundation. The Milken
National Educator Award is the nation's largest teacher recognition program.
We'll travel to three schools to
see past winners in action. Meet two of the 2002 winners - James Aquavia,
a World Literature teacher at Montclair High School , and Patty McGee, a
fourth grade teacher from Norwood Elementary School . Also meet the 2003
winner, Beverly Plein, who went from teaching cooking classes in Cresskill H.S. to teaching technology through the internet
at the Benjamin Franklin Middle school in Teaneck .
We'll meet two of the 2004 honorees. Jill
Stauffer teaches at George Washington Elementary School in Wyckoff and Theresa
Bordo teaches at Cunningham Elementary School in Vineland.
