invention conventionInvention Convention - Students from Cinnaminson participate in the 18th annual Invention Convention. This district-wide event provides students at all grade levels the opportunity to solve real-world problems and create innovative inventions.

Law Academy - The Morris County Vocational and Technical School District has an Academy for Law and Public Safety, a magnet school housed at the Butler High School. Students from the Academy will visit a state Supreme Court Justice, the attorney general's office and the state Capitol for an up-close look at law in New Jersey's capitol city.

ABC - Parents of preschool and kindergarten students at Ocean Road School in Point Pleasant learn how to help their students face the task of homework. The ABC Activity Bag Club uses high school students interested in the teaching profession to prepare special "bags" for preschool and kindergarten students and their parents. The program is funded through a grant from the NJEA Frederick L. Hipp Foundation for Excellence in Education.

Environmental Studies - Teacher John Moore from the Burlington County Institute of Technology in Medford exposes his students to incredible projects, trips and events dealing with the topic of Environmental Studies. His students have traveled to Croatia, France, and Toronto, to name a few. They work on projects from NASA and with internationally known scientists.
