Renaissance
Rally - Mullen Middle School in Sicklerville is
rewarding its students for their hard work. Students
with outstanding attendance, grades and involvement
in extra curricular activities are honored during an
Academic Pep Rally.
Senior
Stories - Jersey City's Visual & Performing
Arts High School visits the Saint Ann's Home for the
Aged to draw portraits of the residents. The results
are not only incredible works of art, but also the foundation
of tender friendships between the generations.
Medieval
Festival - Gifted and Talented students from the
Main Road and C.L. Reutter schools in Franklin Township
join in the study of the medieval times. The students
participate in a feast fit for a king while learning
the history of a far away time and place. This program
is funded through the NJEA Frederick L. Hipp Foundation
for Excellence in Education.
Bus
Safety - Many residents of New Jersey are not sure
about the laws regarding school busses. If they were,
they wouldn't pass a school bus with its flashing yellow
lights. Or they wouldn't be so impatient when a bus
refuses to turn right on a red light, which is illegal.
These are just a few of the tips that Gloucester Township
school bus drivers plan to teach the public about bus
safety.
