#119:
Poetry
Month - To celebrate Poetry Month, the students
at E.T. Briggs School in Lake Hopatcong will create
a rhyming recounting of the raucous 50's. The fourth-graders
will read poetry while they are dressed as Beatniks.
Dream
Makers - Dreams, Designs and Dimensions is the title
of this year's kindergarten art exhibit at the John
C. Milanesi Elementary School in Buena. Parents view
the incredible artwork on display as part of a Crayola
Dream Maker's project.
Baseball
Bonanza - Baseball is fun, but it can also be educational.
Students at Franklin Park Elementary School learn about
physics, math, and history while studying the sport
first hand at the Somerset Patriot Stadium.
Challenge
Advisors - What does it take to prepare New Jersey
high school students for the Rutgers Academic Challenge?
This interscholastic competition needs volunteer teachers
to serve as advisors to the high school teams. We'll
