Show #113:

Camp Bernie - Students from Jersey City schools leave the boundaries of the city to attend environmental classes at Camp Bernie. They also learn about trust, respect and responsibility.

Pencils a la Cart - Delsea Regional High School students with multiple disabilities can obtain occupational and daily living skills along with academic skills required by the state by operating a mobile school store. The group travels from school to school selling school supplies. This program is a Hipp Grant that was funded through a special donation from former N.J. State Senator John Rocco.

Shopping Mall - Eighth-graders at the Orchard Valley Middle School in Sewell will design and construct models of a store. The students will learn about building, leasing, and owning a store, paying for utilities and insurance, and other aspects of running a business such as promotions, sales, and liability.

K-5 Buddy Program - The kindergartners at Collins Elementary in Livingston are matched with fifth-graders in a special Buddy Program. The fifth-graders learn from teaching, and the kindergartners adore their "young teachers".
