Nila Aronow
Co-Executive Producer
Nila Aronow has been with NJN since 1980 and became Executive Producer of State of the Arts in 1991. She also supervises production of Another View. In her role as Assistant Executive Director for Production at NJN, she heads the station's Content Committee and works to develop new projects with independent producers. As executive producer of major national documentaries, she has been honored for her contributions to George Segal: American Still Life, Ben Shahn: Passion for Justice, and Willie the Lion, about the legendary stride pianist raised in turn-of-the-century Newark. Also, she works actively in the area of educational broadcasting, with NJN's Digital Classroom and other educational and outreach projects. She is a member of the Leadership New Jersey Class of 1997, a former member of the N.J. Council for the Humanities, and the Board of Directors of the Arts & Business Partnership of Southern New Jersey. A graduate of Vassar College, Nila lives in Haddonfield.
