Edward Waters
Segment Producer
Ed Waters is an independent producer/filmmaker and co-owner of Waterworks Productions with over 20 years of Broadcast Television experience. Waterworks Productions has provided all field related crew and equipment for Classroom Close-up, NJ for the past 10 years, visiting over 900 schools and taping over 6,000 interviews. In addition to Classroom Close-up, NJ, Ed has worked on numerous projects with the New Jersey Education Association and the National Education Association, as well as several national marketing videos for Amtrak. Waterworks Productions has a special interest in environmental issues, working on many videos with the Educational Information and Resource Center about Monarch Butterfly Migration and Environmental Ethics. In 2005, Vermont Public Television premiered the Waterworks Productions documentary titled Circus Smirkus, In the Business of Dreams, a film about a traveling youth circus. Ed is a graduate of Temple University’s Radio, Television and Film Program. He lives in New Jersey with his wife and partner Merilee and their two children Edward and Genevieve.
