Marion
Thompson Wright Lecture Series (1307)
Historians contend that Marion Thompson Wright
laid the foundation for the study of African Americans
in New Jersey. We talk about who she was, and

her. We also look back at the 20th annual series
and its topic of Time and the African Diaspora
with one of the featured speakers.
