NJN News provided complete live coverage of Governor Jon Corzine’s State of the State speech to a joint session of the New Jersey State Legislature on Tuesday, January 13, 2009. The program aired simultaneously on NJN Public Radio and streamed live and archived online. The State of the State speech was rebroadcast at 10 pm the same evening.

Senior political correspondent Michael Aron, senior anchor Jim Hooker and State House correspondent Zachary Fink covered the governor’s address as he discussed his administration’s accomplishments over the past year and its agenda for 2009 including how to deal with the state’s current fiscal crisis. Republican political analyst Roger Bodman and Democratic political strategist Julie Roginsky along with Monmouth University Gannett NJ poll director Patrick Murray will provide analysis.
