Sesame Street turns the Big 40!

Happy Birthday, Big Bird!! Sesame Street celebrates its 40th anniversary on Tuesday, November 10, 2009. The new season is full of all-new changes – Murray serves as a host this season, moving kids from segment to segment, including the new animated segment, Abby’s Flying Fairy School. Favorites such as Word on the Street and Elmo’s World return, joining the recurring Murray Had a Little Lamb segment. The entire season is infused with a green curriculum.
