TELEVISION SPONSORSHIP TV Spots Special Packages

NJN offers airtime in 30 and 15-second spot-buy increments. Per spot rates are based on the day-part and/or program selected. All airtime is subject to availability at time of contract. NJN also offers various packages – many of which include the client’s choice of 30 or 15-second spots, plus sponsorship credits at the open and/or close of a selected program(s).

Discounted television rates are offered to clients who invest over $25,000. For rates, contact our media sponsorship & sales department.

2007-08 TV Special Packages: Return Benefits & Costs

All packages (where applicable) include complimentary production of one broadcast quality 30 or 15-second spot (details TBD). (See "TV Production Services") All messages produced by NJN must comply with applicable FCC/PBS/NJN guidelines and are intended exclusively for broadcast on NJN.

Sponsor logo & audio tag (a.k.a. billboard) built into open of all TV telecasts, radio replay/simulcasts & web casts (1,248 tv/780 radio/520 web streamed units-also available on demand).
     
    7 15-second TV units per week (364 total) or 5 30-second TV units per week (260 total) to air within NJN News and/or adjacent to weekly public affairs programming, Primetime or Weekend Afternoon programming. (Also includes sponsorship of all Major Quarterly Public Affairs Specials.)
     
Major Quarterly Public Affairs Specials   Sponsor logo & audio tag (billboard) produced into animated shared sponsor vignettes that air at the open/internal (when appropriate)/and close of all major quarterly public affairs specials (General Election, Governor’s State of the State Address & Legislative Response, Governor’s Budget Address & Legislative Response and June Primary Election). (Sponsors may be included in additional public affairs specials, when appropriate, value added).
     
    10 15-second TV units (40 total) scheduled within NJN News and/or adjacent to weekly public affairs programming, (based on availability) two weeks leading up to each Major Quarterly Public Affairs Special. (Sponsors may be included in additional public affairs specials, when appropriate, value added).

Best of State & National Public Affairs Programming Sponsorship (52-weeks)   Sponsor logo & audio tag (billboard) produced into animated sponsor vignettes that air at the open, in the middle & end of the Sunday morning 10 am-12 pm programming block (156 total billboard units).
     
    5 15-second TV units per week (260 total) or 3 30-second TV units per week (156 total) to air within NJN News and/or adjacent to weekly public affairs programming.
     
NJN News Business / HealthWatch or Science & Technology Segment Sponsorship
(13, 26 or 52-weeks)
  Sponsor logo & audio tag (billboard) to precede selected NJN News segment:
• Mon-Fri during either 6 pm, 7:30 pm or 11 pm or Tue-Fri 6:30 am Business Segment
• Tue & Thu either during 6 pm, 7:30 pm or 11 pm or Wed & Fri at 6:30 am HealthWatch Segment
• Wed & Fri during either the 6 pm, 7:30 pm or 11 pm or Thu at 6:30 am for Science & Technology Segment
     
    3 30-second TV units per week or 5 15-second TV units per week placed within NJN News and/or adjacent to weekly public affairs programming.
     
    Total # of units based upon # of weeks selected and availability.
     
Major Funding of On the Record or Reporters Roundtable with Michael Aron (52-weeks)   Shared Sponsor billboard (up to 15-seconds) produced into show open and close. On The Record sponsors receive a total of 312 billboard units Reporters Roundtable with Michael Aron sponsors receive a total of 208 billboard units. Additional units received for both programs during replays on NJN Public Radio & on the web demand requests on njn.net.

(39-weeks)
  Shared Sponsor billboard (approx. 10-seconds) built into stylized open, middle and closing sponsor ID vignettes (3 per Sunday afternoon/117 total) during the popular Sunday afternoon block of cooking shows (12:30 pm-4 pm).
2 15-second TV units (78 total) or 1 30-second TV unit (39 total) to air within the Sunday cooking block.
     
Major Funding of PBS Kids on NJN (52-weeks)   1,144 Shared Sponsor billboards/22 per week (Mon-Fri & Sat PBS Kids blocks)
6 30-second TV units (312 total) or 10 15-second TV units (520 total) to air throughout PBS Kids programming, Mon-Sat weekly.
