YES – If your TV uses an antenna to receive TV signals.

To continue to receive TV signals after June 12, 2009, you must:

A. Purchase a digital TV converter box (available from major retailers). The cost of a digital converter box is between $40 and $60. Once connected, your TV will still receive free, over-the-air programs. The federal government will issue up to two FREE converter box coupons (valued at $40 each) to households to help defray the cost of converter boxes. Apply for Coupon

OR

B. Purchase a new television set with a built-in digital tuner. What you need to know before you buy (CEA: Digitaltips.org)

NO – If you have: 1) a digital TV with a digital tuner, or 2) if you subscribe to cable, satellite, or another pay service.

Remember to rescan your converter box or DTV to ensure you get all available channels.
