NJN – along with all television stations – will go digital on February 17, 2009, as required by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).
If you subscribe to cable or satellite, your access to broadcast channels should not change.
However, if you currently rely on over-the-air signals via an analog television and an antenna ("rabbit ears"), you will need to act to continue to receive television. You must either:

NJN Digital offers twenty-four hour-a-day viewing of PBS and original New Jersey-focused programs. View the entire digital schedule for NJN’s Digital Service.
NJN-1: Simulcast (24 hours a day)
Features a simulcast of the programming seen on NJN’s regular broadcast channel.
NJN -3: Annenberg Channel (12 am/midnight – 8 pm)
Features an extraordinary range of teacher professional development and instructional programs.
NJN-4: JerseyVision (24 hours a day)
Features all locally-produced programs including:
• NJN News and Public Affairs
• Due Process
• State of the Arts
• On the Record
• Reporters Roundtable
• Congress Watch
• Images/Imagenes
• Another View
• NJN Specials and Documentaries
NJN-5: High Definition (HD) programming (8 pm – 12 am/midnight)
Features a combination of NJN’s own HDTV productions and special wide-screen and HDTV presentations distributed by PBS and other program sources.
