Camden Boys and Girls Club:
Peer Pressure

Teens at the Boys and Girls Club of Camden County chose to focus on peer pressure because it affects not only teens in Camden but teenagers nationwide. Twice a week for four weeks, the group met to discuss their research and how they wanted to present the topic. In order to produce the piece, the kids wrote and produced their own skits, jingles, and Hip-Hop compositions all about the peer pressure theme. They also interviewed a health care

professional about causes and potential health risks, and interviewed each other about their personal thoughts and experiences. They did on-air stand-ups in the areas around the B&G Club and came to NJN to record voice-overs to keep their video flowing.
