1/2 hour program - Cancer strikes one in three Americans and in 1992 about 500,000 Americans died of cancer. Researchers disagree about the extent to which cancer and the work place are related. This program explores New Jersey's historical workplace-related cancers and looks at what workers may be facing on the job today. This episode also shows what companies are doing to protect their workers from potential exposure, and to offer early detection to their workers. Finally, the program looks at cancer research to see what is being done to potentially stop cancer from developing.

That map is DNA, the complex genetic fingerprint which recent events in the American legal system have brought into the limelight. This documentary looks at the science of DNA research, focusing first on the process of research and then focusing on the possibilities which may spring from the results of this research, such as genetic manipulation of unborn children.

Narrated by Leonard Nimoy, this documentary focuses on the disparity between the medical fields in the USSR and the USA, and follows the doctors from Deborah as they travel to the Soviet Union on their mission of mercy.

1 hour program - In this program, teenagers talk about their perceptions of senior citizens and senior citizens talk about their perceptions of teenagers. From their comments, it becomes clear that a great misunderstanding exists between generations. How did it happen? Target New Jersey tackles these questions by looking at issues of longevity, physical activity and social participation. Finally, the program brings teens and seniors together to show how direct communication between the generations can dispel many of the myths that have been created about aging.

1/2 hour program - In 1990, a group of children from the Soviet State of Georgia were the recipients of open heart surgery made possible by the Deborah Heart and Lung Center. In the year that followed, political turmoil erupted in the Soviet Union and Georgia declared its independence. This documentary follows doctors as they return to Tbilisi, Georgia, to examine the patients from the previous year's operations. In the process, they try to improve the practice of medicine in a country, which is itself struggling to survive.

This program focuses on neighborhoods and families in the Trenton area who are doing something about the problem of drugs in their area. Looking specifically at the individuals who have taken a stand against the dealers and the addicts, this film also travels to the areas where the drug trade and use occurs to show the lifestyle of the drug addict.
