In 2004, 44-thousand New Jerseyans will have been diagnosed with cancer. The disease will have claimed the lives of 18-thousand people, accounting for one in four of the state's deaths. But cancer patients have never had such a vast array of treatment options designed to extend life and lead to cures. There are new types of surgery, including stem cell transplants. New combinations of drugs, and, of course, clinical trials. Video Clip
