In
memory of those loved and lost.
In honor of those who performed acts of heroism and generosity
On September 11,
2001, NJN moved quickly and strategically to provide crucial
emergency coverage and information about resources to assist
with recovery and longer-term issues, and respond to many
requests for help and to help. In the weeks and months that
followed, NJN continued to dedicate its resources to help
the citizens and communities of New Jersey stay informed,
gain an understanding of the issues at hand, and feel connected
to one another. Recognizing that New Jersey's story is one
of many diverse voices, NJN launched America Together:
New Jersey Voices, a statewide initiative to document
and interpret New Jersey's story by reaching out to students
and the public to chronicle together our ongoing story.

"One Flag" by Neil Farkas, a mosaic of myriad smaller images. It is a part of the permanent collection at the Smithsonian Institution.

America Together:
New Jersey Voices is made possible through the contributions
of the people of New Jersey - - students, families, neighbors
- - who gave new meaning to the power of collaboration, the
gift of community and our collective future. We are deeply
grateful for generous support from the Geraldine R. Dodge
Foundation.
