Peter Phelan
Peter Phelan is Managing Director, Private Asset Management, Neuberger Berman. He is responsible for managing client relationships in the greater New York area for this $105 billion discretionary money management firm and coordinating the structuring and delivery of asset management and fiduciary services to high net worth individuals, families and smaller institutions. Prior to joining Neuberger Berman in 1993, he was affiliated with the Investor Services Division of Union Bank of Switzerland in New York as Vice President and Senior Banker. From 1977 to 1990, he was with Manufacturers Hanover where he held positions in Corporate banking and, later, as Senior Vice President, National Private Banking.
Peter is a graduate of Upsala College and did graduate work in business at Stevens Institute of Technology and Fairleigh Dickinson University. He completed the Program for Executives at Carnegie Mellon School of Industrial Administration.
Affiliations include advisory committees of Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts, the Museum of Modern Art and The New York Public Library.
Peter lives in Short Hills, New Jersey with his wife Cindy.
