The ’09 Gubernatorial Debate between Democratic incumbent Governor Jon Corzine, Republican candidate Chris Christie and Independent candidate Chris Daggett will air live on NJN on Thursday, October 1 at 8 pm.  The ninety-minute debate will be broadcast from the NJN Studios in Trenton, and will be simulcast on NJN Public Radio, and web cast and archived at njn.net.  Rebroadcast on Sunday, October 4 at noon and 6 pm. 

Jim Hooker, NJN News senior anchor, will moderate the debate.  The debate is cosponsored by NJN Public Television & Radio, the Philadelphia Inquirer and Gannett NJ Newspaper Group.    Candidates will be questioned by three reporters: Michael Aron, NJN News; Bob Ingle, Gannett NJ; and Cynthia Burton, The Philadelphia Inquirer.
