The 2007 NJN Gala Celebrating the Best of New Jersey takes place on Monday, May 14 at the New Jersey Performing Arts Center in Newark. President and Chief Operating Officer Ralph Izzo of Public Service Enterprise Group Incorporated, is this year’s gala chair. Musical legend and Grammy award-winner Dionne Warwick will perform. Gala honorees are Newark Mayor Cory A. Booker; Wyeth Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Robert Essner; and Wachovia Corporation Atlantic Region Chief Executive Officer Carlos A. Migoya. The event begins at 5:00 pm and includes a reception, dinner, and a silent auction as well as live entertainment. All proceeds benefit NJN Public Television & Radio.
