NJN’s State of the Arts receives
eight Mid-Atlantic Emmy Nominations
STATEWIDE – When
the Mid-Atlantic Emmy nominations were announced on August
3, 2006, the State of the Arts series garnered eight nominations
from among the 19 Emmy nominations received by NJN Public
Television. The Emmy winners will be announced on Saturday,
September 9, during the 24th annual award ceremony at the
Marriott in Philadelphia.

State of the
Arts is the recipient of 24 regional Emmy Awards
including a 2005 Mid-Atlantic Emmy and a 2004 New York Emmy.
The executive producer of State of the Arts is Nila Aronow,
and the series producer is Susan Wallner. Funding is provided
by the New Jersey State Council on the Arts and the Geraldine
R. Dodge Foundation.
State of the
Arts, the award-winning, half-hour arts magazine,
airs every Friday at 8:30 pm, followed by an encore presentation
each Wednesday at 11:30 pm
