Another View Bookshelf airs on Tuesday, December 20, at 6:30 pm and is rebroadcast on Friday, December 23, at 11:30 pm . Bestselling author Benilde Little shares the reasons that compelled her to write Who Does She Think She Is. The book is a multigenerational story of three women grappling with family, love and themselves. Set in New York City and Newark , New Jersey , alternating chapters present readers with the rich past and the present of each woman. Little tells how her own personal life shaped the book and its characters.

Bebe Moore Campbell discusses her book 72 Hour Hold, the story of a woman whose world is shattered when her child develops a mental illness. After becoming fed up with the bureaucracy of the mental health community, she goes beyond the law to save her daughter by any means necessary. Campbell explains why she chose to write about such a this subject.
