Works is the state's single on-air resource for inspiration,
encouragement and advice regarding careers, employment
and all things related. An NJN original weekly program
sponsored by the NJ Department of Labor and Workforce Development,
the show helps working men and women make career choices
through original field reports, studio interviews and special
features which highlight individuals who are "in the know" - all
themed around job trends, careers and the workplace. The
job of a lifetime awaits viewers in every episode of a Career
Minute; New Jersey 's best human resource executives
give valuable advice in exclusive Reliable Sources reports;
and the Works Headlines team updates audiences
on important workforce news. Hosted by Christopher Ridenhour
with reporters Lauren Wanko and Matthew DeLucia, and commentary
by Jay Whitehead, NJ Works provides viewers with
a fast-paced experience that includes specific topics appealing
to those of all ages. Tune in to NJ Works on Wednesdays,
at 6:30 pm , and again on Saturdays, at 9 am , to move
your career forward.
