NJN Foundation
for Public Broadcasting Elects Trustees
STATEWIDE – On
October 27, the NJN Foundation elected Peter J. Cocoziello
for a second term as Chair, along with Douglas S. Eakeley,
Esq., Vice-Chair; Scott A. Kobler, Esq., Secretary; and
Dennis Baldassari, Treasurer. The following trustees were
elected to three-year terms: William “Denny” Baird,
Anthony Coscia, Bill Craven, Albert Gamper, Lucia DiNapoli
Gibbons, Veronica Goldberg, William Marino, Robert McAllan,
John McGoldrick, Scott McVay and George Zoffinger. Trustees
William Engel, Esq., Alfred Koeppe, Esq., Aristides Georgantas
and Leonard Coleman were elected to the NJN Executive Council.
Aristides Georgantas and Al Koeppe were elected Emeritus
Trustees because of their extraordinary leadership in founding
and serving the Foundation. The NJN Foundation also welcomed
three new Trustees:
Keiko Harvey has
been Senior Vice President of Video Network Services for
Verizon Communications since December 2004. Harvey, who
came to the United States from Japan at the age of 17,
is a graduate of Rutgers School of Engineering. She has
been involved in a number of civic activities and has received
numerous awards for her contributions to the business community.
Angelo J.
Genova, Esq. is a founding partner in the law firm
of Genova, Burns and Vernoia, with offices in New Jersey
, New York and Philadelphia . He has practiced labor
and employment law, litigation and election law for over
twenty-five years. Genova serves on several public and
nonprofit boards and currently serves as a commissioner
of the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey .
Mei-Mei Tuan is
a partner and co-founder of Notch Partners, LLC, an executive
recruiting firm serving private equity funds. Prior to
founding Notch Partners in 2002, Tuan founded and ran an
independent consulting practice for startup companies,
private equity and venture capital firms, and large corporations.
A staunch advocate for women in business, Tuan is a frequent
speaker at events and on panels that promote and support
women business leaders and managers.
