- Linda Epps has joined the NJN Foundation as Vice
President, Institutional Relations, after 26 years of distinguished
service to Bloomfield College. The NJN Foundation is the
fund-raising arm of NJN Public Television and Radio, New
Jersey's only statewide television broadcast network. Her
responsibilities with the Foundation include individual
giving, most especially major and mid-level gifts.
"We
are so pleased to welcome Linda Epps to the NJN Foundation,"
said Elizabeth G. Christopherson, President of the
Foundation. "Linda brings a significant record of
achievement in expanding revenue growth and a deep commitment
to expanding learning opportunities for all people, a core
mission of NJN."
For
the past four years, Ms. Epps has served as Vice President
for College Relations at Bloomfield College. During this
time, the College experienced substantial increased giving
-- more notably the completion of an $8.4 million capital
campaign.
She
also served in the academic area as Vice President of Student
Affairs, Associate Dean of Academic Affairs and Dean of
Students, achieving an outstanding reputation in the academic
community for her advocacy for diversity, equity and access
to higher education. She has been invited by university
communities within New Jersey and neighboring states to
address diversity issues. Ms. Epps holds degrees from Douglass
College and Seton Hall University and is currently enrolled
in a doctoral program at Drew University.
