Stephanie Hoopes Halpin, Treasurer

Stephanie Hoopes Halpin was appointed to the NJPBA Board of Commissioners by Governor Jon Corzine with the approval of the New Jersey Senate in June, 2006.

Ms. Halpin is the founder and current board member of Girls Inc. of Northern New Jersey. She is an adjunct Assistant Professor of International Political Economy at Columbia University, and has also taught at the University of Sussex, University of Birmingham and the London School of Economics in the UK.

She lives in Mountain Lakes with her husband and two children where she is involved in the local League of Women Voters of Mountain Lakes. Most recently she was the Program Director for the League’s successful ‘Running and Winning’ workshop. She has also served on the Advisory Committee on Women for Morris County and the board of the Mountain Lakes Area American Association of University Women.
