Foundation Board of Trustees
Kevin T. Rigby
Kevin was appointed to the NJN Foundation Board of Trustees on January 31, 2006.
Kevin is a member of the Novartis Executive Committee and oversees the departments of State Government Affairs, Health Policy, Philanthropy and Community Development, and Advocacy and Access. Kevin is responsible for Novartis’ interactions with state elected officials, the company’s community presence, its philanthropic contributions, its programs for the uninsured and under-insured, and its involvement with public policy initiatives. Kevin joined Novartis in March, 2002.
Prior to joining Novartis, Kevin was Vice President, Sales and Marketing Services at Hoffmann-LaRoche, where he designed, staffed and managed six departments. During his tenure with Hoffmann-LaRoche, Kevin also held vice president positions in Business Policy & Government Affairs, Public Policy, and State Government Affairs.
Before joining the private sector, Kevin held several jobs in the public area. He served as State Director and Chief of Staff to Senator Bill Bradley, and was elected as both councilman and mayor for the town of River Edge, New Jersey.
Previously an attorney with a private practice, Kevin graduated from Rutgers University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science, and holds a Juris Doctor from Pace University School of Law, White Plains, NY.
Kevin serves on the Board of Directors for the National Health Council and the Alliance for Aging Research, and is a Community Partnership Member with the New York Blood Center. In addition, Kevin is actively involved throughout New Jersey. He is a board member for the United Way of Morris County and for the past two years he has served as Chair for the New Jersey Blood Services (NJBS) Blood Donor Campaign.
