Jeffrey R. Breen

Jeffrey R. Breen joined the NJN Foundation Board of Trustees in October 1996. A partner in the tri-state office of Deloitte & Touche LLP, he is the firm's national director of the public sector industry. He continues his company's long relationship with NJN, following senior partner, Robert Berkowitz, a former chairman of the New Jersey Public Broadcasting Authority. Breen is a member of the Board of Directors of Inroads Northern New Jersey, the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Government Finance Officers Association. He has written articles and given speeches on topics related to governmental accounting and financing before such groups as the Government Finance Officers Association Annual Conference. He received his B.S. degree from the University of Oklahoma. Breen resides in central New Jersey with his wife and two children.
