William D. Baird

William D. Baird Jr. is the former President of the Glenmede Trust Company of New Jersey. Prior to joining Glenmede, Baird was Executive Vice President and Managing Director of the Personal Financial Services Division of CoreStates Asset Management. Before that, he had a 28-year career at Chemical Banking Corporation, which included serving as President of Chemical Bank New Jersey and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Princeton Bank and Trust Company. Baird received a BA from Brown University in 1968, where he majored in political science. He is formerly Chairman of the Board of the Morristown Memorial Health Foundation and is a member of the Advisory Board of Morristown Memorial Hospital. He is a Trustee of McCarter Theatre, and he is on the Board of Visitors of Drew University. (9/30/04)

Mr. Baird was elected a Trustee of the NJN Foundation in 1999 and was elected a member of the NJN Executive Council upon his retirement from the Board on November 8, 2006.
