Richard H. Bagger

Rich Bagger is Senior Vice President of Government Relations for Pfizer Inc. He has responsibility for federal government relations, state government relations, U.S. public policy, alliance development and public affairs activities. Prior to joining Pfizer in 1993, Mr. Bagger was Assistant General Counsel of Blue Cross and Blue Shield of New Jersey and was previously an attorney with the law firm of McCarter and English in Newark, New Jersey.

Mr. Bagger served in the New Jersey Legislature for eleven years. Prior to his election to the New Jersey Legislature, Mr. Bagger served as a Councilman and Mayor of Westfield, New Jersey. He was also a Legislative Aide in the New Jersey General Assembly and the United States House of Representatives.

Mr. Bagger received an A.B. degree from Princeton University Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs and a J.D. degree from Rutgers University Law School. He and his wife Barbara are the parents of three daughters.

Mr. Bagger was elected a Trustee of the NJN Foundation in 2005 and was elected a member of the NJN Executive Council upon his retirement from the Board on November 8, 2007.
